Blueberry Hand Pies



My, my, sweet pie! Our first sweet hand pie is a mix between a healthy sweet pie and a pop-tart. Encrusted in an almond, coconut, and cinnamon crust, with some flax and chia meal for a little healthful texture, these pies are filled with wild blueberries, lemon, a touch of coconut sugar, and some deep pie spices. Enjoy one for breakfast, snack, or dessert!

Ingredients: filling: blueberries, coconut sugar, maple syrup, lemon, arrowroot flour, vanilla extract, cinnamon, allspice, salt; crust: almond flour, tapioca flour, coconut oil, coconut sugar, chia meal, flaxseed meal, cinnamon, salt

Care:  Warm directly from freezer for 15-20 minutes at 325 on a lined pan. Toast from refrigerator for 4-7 minutes on high in toaster oven. Keeps frozen for 3 months and refrigerated for 5 days.
